NSF AGEP Project ELEVATE

The Project ELEVATE initiative (Equity-focused Launch to Empower and Value AGEP Faculty to Thrive in Engineering) represents a partnership between Carnegie Mellon University, Johns Hopkins University, and New York University. This collaborative effort is supported by the National Science Foundation Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) program. Project ELEVATE aims to facilitate the fair progression of early career tenure-stream engineering faculty members belonging to racially and ethnically underrepresented groups in STEM. Additionally, it seeks to establish a framework for institutional transformation within private, highly selective research institutions, fostering an environment where all faculty can actively participate in a collaborative community.

Project ELEVATE Training Series

The NSF ELEVATE Training Series is designed to empower participants with the latest insights and knowledge in inclusive communication, teaching, and mentoring.

  • Inclusive Communication Trainings
  • Inclusive Teaching Workshops
