The NanoBioX initiative at NYU stimulates fundamental research and technological innovation at the intersection of nanotechnology, biomedical research, and data science.
The NBX initiative will enable synergistic creative collaborations of our visionary faculty that will bridge our core research themes of nanofabrication, nanoelectronics, biotechnology, and data science. This model of collaboration will break down the traditional boundaries of academia and lead to breakthrough scientific discoveries and translational technologies in wearable electronics, neurotechnologies, point-of-care diagnostics, integrated biosensors, organ-on-a-chip technologies, and biophotonics. NBX will develop innovative technologies and accelerate their translation and impact into commercial products through the formation of startups and corporate partnerships to bring about a positive near-term impact in the world.
